...is easy to work with, leads by example, contributes to the debate, gets things done – on time, on budget and with flare, celebrates a job well done, brings people together, enjoys playing Lego with his kids on sunny Sunday mornings, goes for long runs, loves camping and canoeing, purposely gets lost in design bookstores and art galleries, enjoys challenges such as baking cookies in toaster ovens and building complicated folded and glued paper toys.

Drove across Joshua Tree National Park
2:58:14 at the 114th Boston Marathon 2010
Took the elevator up the Eiffel Tower - not so good with heights!
Crossed the Arctic Circle
Rode the train across Canada
Lived in Berlin for a year and Montreal for a year and a half
Swam in the Arctic Ocean
Hiked the cloud forests of Monteverde
And most importantly helped deliver both of my daughters at home - with the help of some very talented midwives. Of course, it was my wife doing all of the work!
